After a decline for 2 consecutive days, the price of gold was seen increasing by Rs 900 across the country today.
According to a report by the official news agency ‘APP’, the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association said that the price of pure gold of 24 carats increased by Rs 900 to Rs 336,100.
Similarly, 24 carat 10 grams of gold became expensive by Rs 772 to be sold for Rs 288,151, while 22 carat 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 708 to reach Rs 264,148.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola and 10 grams remained at Rs 3,377 and Rs 2,985 respectively.
According to the association, gold per ounce in the global market increased by $9 to $3,177.
It should be noted that yesterday, the price of pure gold per tola of 24 carats fell by Rs 6,700 to Rs 335,200.
A day earlier (May 14), the price of pure gold per tola had fallen by Rs 2,300 to Rs 341,900.
