First Digital Endowment Hospital Inaugurated in Madinah

Madinah: The inauguration of the first digital endowment hospital, “Al-Salam Endowment Hospital,” has been carried out in Madinah.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Prince Salman bin Sultan, the Governor of Madinah. In his speech, Prince Salman highlighted the historical significance of non-profit development and commended the humanitarian effort behind the project.

He mentioned that this initiative reflects the public welfare-oriented vision of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who prioritize charitable and developmental matters.

The project is aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, aiming to enhance the role of the non-profit sector in economic development and promote a cohesive society. This hospital will provide healthcare services to visitors of the Prophet’s Mosque.

The opening ceremony was attended by Saudi Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Qasabi, Minister of Health Fahd Al-Jalajil, and several key figures in Saudi public service.

Prince Salman emphasized the historical importance of Madinah in the realm of Islamic endowments, noting that this region is the birthplace of the first Islamic waqf. He expressed gratitude to Prince Faisal bin Salman for his efforts in establishing this hospital.
