Today, gold prices in Pakistan and the international market surged to historic levels.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola in the country increased by a massive Rs. 8,100, bringing the new rate to Rs. 357,800 per tola — the highest ever recorded.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold saw an increase of Rs. 6,944, pushing it to Rs. 306,755.
In the international market, gold prices also witnessed a significant jump, rising by $69, reaching $3,395 per ounce.
This sharp increase reflects both local economic conditions and global market trends, indicating continued investor interest in gold as a safe-haven asset.
