Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan clearly declared his support for the brotherly Pakistani nation and said that Pakistan and India are happy about the ceasefire while they want an easy solution to all issues including water.
According to sources, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced his support for the Pakistani nation in his address to the cabinet.
He said that we gave a clear stance on the brutal terrorist attack in Kashmir and missile attacks on Pakistan, and made tireless efforts to reduce the extremely dangerous tension between the two countries.
He said that I called Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed very important issues with him, I congratulate the Pakistani brothers for their patience and wise stance.
The Turkish President advised not to get into provocations and wished that the calm atmosphere established by the ceasefire would facilitate the resolution of all issues, including water.
He further said that we are happy about the ceasefire between Pakistan and India, Turkey will stand with the brotherly Pakistani nation in good and bad times.
It should be noted that yesterday, during a meeting with Turkish Ambassador Irfan Nazir Oglu at the Prime Minister’s House, Shehbaz Sharif had thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for expressing solidarity with Pakistan.
He said that the Prime Minister had said that he appreciated Turkey’s role in the recent tensions, Turkey has always supported Pakistan in difficult times, and there is a history of brotherly relations between the two countries.
