Indonesian woman who left for Hajj dies on her way to Medina

A woman who left for Hajj with her husband from Indonesia died before landing in Saudi Arabia.

According to a foreign news agency, the 65-year-old woman is from the central province of Java in Indonesia. The woman was on a flight to Medina, during which the woman complained of dizziness and then collapsed and died.

A video of the woman’s death on the plane has also been shared on Saudi media’s social media, in which the funeral can be seen in a corner of the flight.

According to media reports, the woman died on May 3 at 3:12 pm, while the woman has been identified as 65-year-old Daima.

According to the death certificate, the woman was suffering from dehydration, but the real cause of her death was a heart attack.

The woman’s husband told the administration that “Daima was fine during the flight and never complained of any discomfort. Before the plane landed, Daima asked to go to the washroom. After coming out, she complained of dizziness, after which she suddenly collapsed. Daima was given immediate medical attention, but she could not be saved.”
