Islamabad: The federal government has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel for the coming week. Under the latest notification, petrol has become costlier by Rs13.18 per litre, while diesel has increased by Rs13.80 per litre.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 13.18 per liter, after which the new price of petrol has been set at Rs 310.71 per liter.
The price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs 13.80 per liter, after which the new price of diesel has become Rs 323.30 per liter.
According to sources, the levy on petrol has been increased by Rs 9.36 per liter, after which the levy on petrol has become Rs 80 per liter, earlier the levy on petrol was Rs 70.36 per liter.
According to the notification, the new prices will be applicable from 12 midnight tonight and will remain effective for the next week.
