Karachi: Veteran Pakistani actor Firdous Jamal has said Shah Rukh Khan is a global superstar but does not consider him a great actor. He also said comparisons between Shah Rukh Khan and legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar are not justified.
Recently, actor Firdous Jamal participated as a guest in a private TV comedy show where he openly expressed his views on various artists and their artistic talents.
He said that he is a fan of Bollywood’s legendary actor Dilip Kumar, but comparing Shah Rukh Khan with Dilip Kumar is not right. Dilip Kumar was a unique and great actor, while Shah Rukh Khan could not present acting of this quality.
He further said that Shah Rukh Khan’s delivery, pronunciation and style of speech do not show the maturity that is the hallmark of a great actor. Shah Rukh Khan is certainly a superstar with an extraordinary reputation, but his position as an actor is not as high as his popularity.
