During the weekly briefing on Friday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said that India provided Pakistan with some details regarding the floods at the diplomatic level, but the Foreign Office was not provided with complete details.
He said that the Afghan government must take the issue of terrorism seriously, there are safe havens for terrorists, Pakistan knows how to protect its land and people, Pakistan recently conducted an operation against terrorists in border areas to protect its land and people.
The Foreign Office spokesperson said that Afghanistan should stop using its territory against Pakistan, Germany should take the issue of Afghan citizens in Pakistan going to Germany seriously.
He said that he has seen the statement of the German Foreign Ministry regarding Afghan refugees in Pakistan, Afghan citizens waiting to go to Germany should be deported from Pakistan as soon as possible, Germany should call Afghan citizens to Germany as soon as possible.

Shafqat Ali Khan said that Pakistan strongly condemns the attacks by Israel in Khan Younis, Israel targeted hospitals and journalists in the attacks, Israel is continuously violating human rights.
He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to China was very successful, the Prime Minister visited China at the invitation of the Chinese President, where the Prime Minister attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting and met with many important leaders, the Prime Minister condemned the Israeli aggression in Gaza.
The Foreign Office spokesperson said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif highlighted the issue of Afghanistan in the SCO, and the Prime Minister emphasized bilateral talks with Afghanistan.
According to the spokesperson, the Prime Minister also held meetings with the presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran. In the meeting with the Iranian president, Pakistan reiterated its commitment to brotherly relations with Iran.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Pakistan and Russia emphasized progress in bilateral relations, including in other areas. The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the SCO vision. The Prime Minister emphasized strengthening regional cooperation in the SCO. The Prime Minister condemned the Israeli aggression in Gaza and Iran.
There is a risk of major flooding again in the Sutlej River
On the other hand, according to the Ministry of Water Resources, the Indian High Commissioner has warned of the risk of major floods. India has issued an alert regarding floods in Harik and Ferozepur in the Sutlej River.
The Ministry of Water Resources has issued a warning letter in this regard and informed that the Indian High Commissioner issued a flood alert at 8 am.
It should be noted that India has informed Pakistan about the floods three times this month, however, the Indian government, continuously ignoring the Indus Waters Treaty, instead of formally contacting Pakistan through the Indus Water Commission, informs the Ministry of Water Resources about the flood situation through the High Commissioner.
India made the first contact regarding the flood situation on September 3, while a high flood alert was issued at 2 places in the Sutlej River yesterday as well.
After Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PDMA Punjab has issued an alert regarding the 10th spell of monsoon, with a series of storms starting tomorrow.
A spokesperson for the Disaster Management Authority Punjab said that there is a possibility of heavy stormy rains in most districts of the province from September 6 to 9, in view of which citizens have been appealed to take precautionary measures.
According to the PDMA spokesperson, rains are expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Lahore, Gujarat and Sialkot, in addition to this, rains are also likely in Narowal, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Okara, Sahiwal, Kasur, Jhang, Sargodha and Mianwali.
DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia said that rains are also expected in the southern Punjab areas of Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan and Rajanpur, while there is a risk of flash flooding in the rivers and wells of Dera Ghazi Khan from September 7 to 9.
