Islamabad: The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 qualifier, to be held in Pakistan, has generated significant interest among female cricketers.
ICC Women’s Cricket Manager Snehal Pradhan, a former international cricketer from India, has highlighted the competitive nature of this year’s qualifier.
The qualifier will see six teams, including host Pakistan, compete for a spot in the Women’s World Cup.
These teams include ICC full members like Bangladesh, Ireland, and the West Indies, as well as associate members Thailand and Scotland.
Pradhan emphasized that the qualifying standard has been raised significantly, making it nearly impossible to predict which teams will emerge victorious.
