Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the enemy made a dirty attempt to attack Pakistan in the darkness of last night, but our brave armed forces gave a befitting reply to this heinous attack by India and turned this dark night into a moonlight night.
The session of the National Assembly began under the chairmanship of Speaker Ayaz Sadiq. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan and the leaders and members of all political parties present in the House.
He said that last night, our enemy, considering it a dark night, made an evil attempt to attack Pakistan by hiding in the darkness like the past, but by the grace of Allah, with the prayers of the 240 million people of Pakistan, our brave and courageous Pakistani forces gave a befitting reply to this heinous attack by India and turned this dark night into a moonlight night.
He said that many Pakistanis were martyred in this attack, including children and women. I request this House to pray for the elevation of the ranks of these martyrs.
Shahbaz Sharif said that a sad incident took place in Pahalgam, but India registered an FIR within 10 minutes and after that, Indian media and politicians made unnecessary allegations against Pakistan and tried to convince the whole world that, God forbid, Pakistan was involved in this incident.
He said that some time ago, terrorists hijacked a train in Balochistan and in this, there was a connection between the BLA and the TTP and their supporter India, of which we have undeniable evidence.
He said that India did not have the opportunity to condemn this incident and the callousness with which they mocked this incident will always be remembered in the worst words in history.
The Prime Minister said that I had made it clear earlier that Pakistan had nothing to do with this incident and if anyone has any doubts, I had also offered an impartial investigation and said that Pakistan would fully cooperate with this commission, but till yesterday, India did not accept our offer, but a friendly country that supported this offer, India, blocked and demarched their ambassador.
He said that our forces were ready 24 hours a day to know when the enemy planes would fly and when we would pick them up and throw them into the sea. India has bought Rafale planes, which it is very proud of, but it is not proud of. With the grace of Allah Almighty, the enemy is fought with confidence.
He said that on the night of 29th April, Pakistan locked the communication of the Rafale planes and the enemy did not understand what had happened to us. They immediately turned back and landed in Srinagar.
Shahbaz Sharif said that it is not that we were not getting news, we were aware of India’s nefarious and evil intentions. Last night, the enemy was fully prepared, 80 of their planes were martyred in this attack and they attacked 6 different cities.
He said that Pakistan’s eagles were fully prepared and our planes did not cross the borders of Pakistan. As soon as the Indian planes released the payload, our eagles swooped down and instantly shot down 5 enemy jet fighters, including 3 Rafales.
