Great news for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims, Saudi Arabia has allowed 10,000 additional pilgrims to perform Hajj. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar had made a special request to increase the Hajj quota for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims.
According to Sources, on the special instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with the efforts of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Saudi Arabia decided to allow 10,000 more pilgrims for Pakistan to perform Hajj.
Ishaq Dar had contacted Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and made a special request for an increase in the Hajj quota for Pakistani pilgrims.
This request was made for those citizens who were unable to register due to the expiry of the fixed Hajj deadline. Saudi authorities accepted Pakistan’s special request and approved an extension of the Hajj quota for Pakistan.
This initiative is a practical expression of the close relations between the two brotherly Islamic countries, mutual cooperation, and Saudi Arabia’s special attention to the Pakistani people. After this initiative, 10,000 more Pakistani citizens will be able to have the privilege of performing Hajj 2025.
