PM Shehbaz Sharif leaves for Belarus on a 2-day official visit

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed on a two-day official visit to the Republic of Belarus.

He is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.

During the visit, multiple agreements between the two countries are expected to be signed. The Prime Minister’s visit reflects the strong and consistent partnership between Belarus and Pakistan.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is undertaking this official visit to Belarus from April 10 to 11, 2025, at the invitation of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

Nawaz Sharif Also Departs for Belarus

Meanwhile, PML-N President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has also left for Belarus. According to party sources, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz is accompanying him.

In addition to them, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Hassan Nawaz, Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, and Nawaz Sharif’s personal physician Dr. Adnan are also part of the delegation heading to Belarus.
