Prime Minister, Interior Minister Praise Security Forces

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for the successful operations, saying the government would continue efforts to eliminate terrorism and maintain peace in Balochistan.

In a statement, the prime minister said those involved in militant violence were enemies of the province’s peace, development, and stability, adding that the fight against terrorism would continue until the threat was eliminated.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also praised the professionalism of the security forces, describing the intelligence-based operations in Sorab and Mastung as an important step toward strengthening peace and security.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting security forces in counterterrorism operations and said Pakistan remained determined to combat militancy across the country.

Authorities say such operations are aimed at dismantling militant networks, recovering weapons and explosives, and preventing future attacks.
