Artist Sells Trash Collected Outside Taylor Swift’s Wedding Venue for $1,250

 

A New York artist has earned $1,250 after selling items collected outside the venue of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s reported wedding. The unusual collection, marketed as artwork, sold out within 24 hours.

According to a foreign news agency report, New York artist Justin Gagnac collected these items from the streets around Madison Square Garden while Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding ceremony was underway at Madison Square Garden.

The items offered for sale included bottle caps, candy, police warning tape, straws, utensils and an AirPod. Each item was priced at $25. All of these items were sold within 24 hours.

Justin Gagnac said that most of the buyers were Taylor Swift fans who wanted to get a souvenir related to the wedding. Justin Gagnac described each item as a piece of art and stored it in a small plastic cube.

According to the artist, so far he has sold 50 items and earned $1,250, and may offer more items for sale.
