Both the pilots who were injured in the accident were taken to the Akhnoor Military Hospital. An Indian Air Force aircraft also crashed in the Bathinda area. An Indian Heron Remotely Piloted Vehicle (Heron RPV) was shot down 13 nautical miles east of Jammu city.
