Multan Sultans were knocked out of the race to win the trophy after their defeat to Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.
In the first match played on Thursday at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, Karachi Kings defeated Multan Sultans by 87 runs, knocking them out of the PSL 10 playoffs.
This marked Multan Sultans’ seventh loss in the PSL 10 tournament.
The second match between Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars in Lahore was abandoned due to rain, with both teams being awarded one point each.
Lahore Qalandars batted first and scored 111 runs for 3 wickets in 11.3 overs before strong winds and dusty weather forced the match to pause.
Shortly after, heavy rain began, making it impossible to resume the game, and the match referee officially called off the game.
