Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that 90% fake news is going on on social media, it is not possible to put whatever news you want on social media and now we will crack down on false news on social media.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, Mohsin Naqvi said that if false news is spread on national media, PEMRA notice is issued, but put a picture on social media, spread whatever news you want, it is not possible to put whatever news you want on social media.

He said that those who spread false news are not journalists, as a journalist I believe that there should be freedom of expression but freedom of expression is important but fake news is not allowed, now we will crack down on false news on social media.

Regarding the Afghan residents in the country, he said that illegal Afghan residents are being sent back, the evacuation of Afghan residents from Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh is ongoing, but Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is facing difficulties on the issue of Afghan residents.

He said that Afghan citizens are being protected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but there will be no compromise on the issue of the return of Afghan residents, Afghan residents are requested to return to their homeland with dignity.

Mohsin Naqvi visits 3 mega projects in Islamabad, expresses satisfaction over development work

The other day, 3 mega public projects of the federal capital Islamabad are nearing completion. The pace of work on the T-Chowk Flyover, Shaheen Chowk Underpass and Faizabad Interchange remodeling projects has been further accelerated. In this regard, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the T-Chowk Flyover, Shaheen Chowk Underpass and Faizabad Interchange projects and reviewed the progress of the three projects and inspected the ongoing construction activities.

He expressed satisfaction over the progress of the development work of the three projects and directed to convert Loop One and Loop Two into three lanes to further improve traffic flow at Faizabad Interchange. Mohsin Naqvi also issued instructions to install landscaping and lights on both sides to enhance the beauty of the projects.

On this occasion, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that all resources should be utilized to complete the projects as soon as possible. The completion of the projects will significantly improve traffic flow.

The Home Minister said that traffic pressure will be reduced and citizens will get convenience in transportation, passengers coming from the twin cities and Punjab will also benefit from the T-Chowk flyover.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa gave a detailed briefing to the Home Minister about the progress of the three projects.

During the briefing, it was informed that about 80 percent of the work of the T-Chowk flyover project has been completed, it will be opened for traffic in early December, 100 percent of the pile cap and girder casting of the T-Chowk flyover project has been completed, while 75 percent of the protective walls have been completed.

It was said in the briefing that the launching of 70 girders of the Shaheen Chowk underpass has been completed, the work of the remaining girders will be completed soon, 100 percent of the work of ramp one and ramp two of the project has been completed.

It was informed that the Faizabad Interchange project pile foundation has been completed, RCC walls are complete, while asphalt work is in progress.

Members of CDA, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner and other officers were also present on the occasion.
