Lahore: Senior Pakistani actor Noman Ijaz revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer and Surah Rahman helped him a lot in his recovery.
The senior actor recently gave an interview in which he revealed about his cancer.
The actor said that he was diagnosed with cancer near his ear in 2024. The day I came to know about cancer, I looked up at the sky in prayer and said that I have never done wrong or evil to anyone, I have never violated anyone’s rights.
He said that Allah sends a servant for some work, I don’t want to see my family in pain.
Noman Ijaz said that I prayed to Allah that I did not want to go around hospitals, I did not want to go through painful procedures like chemotherapy, so I used to read a lot every night and sleep hoping that I would not wake up in the morning.
He added that when people came to know about cancer, a very good friend of mine asked me to read Surah Rahman. From that day onwards, I have been reading Surah Rahman. I think Surah Rahman played a big role in saving me. Then I had a successful operation and the tumor was removed. My first chemotherapy was to start on July 23, 2024, and on July 22, the doctors called me and told me that we did not find anything, so chemotherapy was not needed.
