Lahore: Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, while addressing the annual prize distribution ceremony at Minhaj Girls College on the topic of knowledge, said that knowledge is not only a means of livelihood, but also a means of serving humanity. Without literature, knowledge is just a burden.
The most beautiful gift of parents to their daughters is to adorn them with the ornaments of education. The purpose of education is not only to obtain a degree but also to make them a good and useful person for the society. Literature and piety are central in the acquisition of knowledge. Daughters should focus all their attention on acquiring knowledge. An educated and virtuous woman is a source of goodness for her family and the entire society.

In the annual prize distribution ceremony, position holder students, faculty and staff members who have shown outstanding performance were awarded with shields and certificates. The ceremony was attended by a large number of students, teachers, distinguished guests and the administration.

At the end of the ceremony, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr. Ghazala Hassan Qadri, Fizza Hussain Qadri and Principal Aftab Ahmed Khan distributed shields and certificates to the students who secured outstanding positions in various sessions of Intermediate, Shahada-ul-Alia and Shahada-ul-Alamiya.

In addition, faculty and staff members who performed well were also awarded with commendation shields.
