Operation Shabaan Continues in Balochistan, 75 Militants Killed in Five Days

 

Islamabad: Security forces have intensified Operation Shabaan across Balochistan following the Mangi Dam attack, with operations continuing in multiple areas. According to security sources, 75 militants have been killed in Operation Shabaan and other intelligence-based operations since July 5.

According to security sources, ‘Operation Shabaan’ is underway by the Pakistan Army, FC and Balochistan Police after the alleged terrorist attack on the Mangi Dam police station.

Sources said that the scope of the operation against the militants is being expanded through ground and air operations in difficult mountainous areas.

Similarly, 26 alleged terrorists were killed on July 6 and 7, while 13 more terrorists have been claimed to have been killed in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of those killed in Operation Shabaan is being said to be 39.

On the other hand, security sources said that the alleged attack on the police station in the Zaidi area of ​​Khuzdar was also foiled this morning.

The immediate action of the security forces has claimed to have confirmed the killing of 8 terrorists, while reports of another 5 to 6 terrorists being killed in helicopter operations have also emerged.

Sources said that a total of 75 terrorists have been killed during Operation ‘Shabaan’ and other intelligence-based operations that have been ongoing since July 5.
