Lahore: Students of Minhaj University Lahore participated in relief activities yesterday by expressing solidarity with the flood victims of Chohang area of Lahore. Students visited flood victims’ camps and distributed food and rations to affected families.
Students of Minhaj University Lahore reached the flood victims’ camps by bus and distributed food and rations. Affected families residing in the camps thanked Minhaj University administration for providing food and rations by Minhaj University.
Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University Lahore, Professor Dr. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, in his message regarding the relief of flood victims, said that due to the recent rains and floods, lakhs of people have been left homeless and thousands of people have died. In this hour of difficulty, the administration and students of Minhaj University Lahore are doing all they can to help the flood victims.
He added that helping the flood victims is our top priority and relief activities will continue until the flood victims are rehabilitated.
