Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan has achieved significant educational achievements in a short period

 

Lahore: Deputy Chairman Board Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that for 76 years after the establishment of Pakistan, Madrasas were continuously neglected by the state patronage. Madrasas are the guardians of the intellectual heritage of Islam. Despite this, Madrasas have played a valuable role in the promotion of religious education and social formation with limited resources.

He expressed these views while addressing a seminar organized by Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan on the occasion of its 5th Foundation Day. He said that due to lack of timely reforms, doubts and suspicions arose regarding madrasas, however, Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan removed these concerns through practical measures in a short period of just 5 years and crossed a historical milestone by implementing a curriculum compatible with modern requirements.

Nazim-e-Ala Nizam-e-Madaris Pakistan Dr. Mir Asif Akbar said that Nizam-e-Madaris has provided 40 modern and technical courses to more than 12,000 students in the last five years so that they can get a respectable job along with religious education.

He said that Nizam-e-Madaris Pakistan has the unique honor of modernizing and modernizing the religious curriculum that is almost three and a half centuries old. Through these reforms, millions of students of religious schools got the opportunity to join the national educational and development stream. Deputy Nazim-e-Ala Dr. Rafiq Najam said that under the patronage of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, there was an opportunity to change the curriculum of religious schools. Due to the intellectual guidance of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the Islamic philosophy of peace was included as a subject in the curriculum of religious schools.

Deputy Director General Media Affairs Noorullah Siddiqui expressed his views and said that religious schools are the guardians and protectors of the glorious intellectual heritage of Islam. Religious schools are the only largest NGO in the world which, with their help, are adorning millions of students with the jewels of knowledge.

He said that the Madrasa system has adopted modern techniques, including online monitoring of examinations. The duties of the stage secretary in the seminar were performed by the Director of Examinations Allama Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi. The seminar was attended by Raja Zahid Mahmood, President Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore Iqbal Bajwa, Jawad Hamid, Colonel (retd) Khalid Hayat, Noorullah Siddiqui, Mian Rehan Maqbool, Arif Chaudhry, President Lahore PAT Engineer Malik Ahmed Akhwan Awan, Allama Ashfaq Chishti, Mian Abdul Qadir and other leaders.
