Balochistan: Operation Radd-ul-Fitnah-1 successfully completed, 216 terrorists killed

Coordinated, rapid and intelligence-based operations were carried out against terrorists operating under Indian auspices in the operation

 

Security forces have successfully completed Operation Radd-ul-Fitnah-1 in Balochistan, resulting in the killing of 216 terrorists.

A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army said that the security forces have successfully completed Operation Radd-ul-Fitnah-1 in Balochistan. Under the operation, several coordinated, rapid and intelligence-based operations were carried out against terrorist elements operating under Indian auspices.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that the aim of these terrorist elements was to sabotage peace and development in Balochistan by targeting innocent civilians, women and children. On January 29, 2026, based on verified and reliable intelligence information, operations were launched in the suburban areas of Panjgur and Harnai district, where the presence of terrorists posed immediate threats to the local population.

The ISPR said that during this phase, the security forces effectively targeted the hideouts of the terrorists, as a result of which 41 terrorists associated with Indian proxy networks were killed.

According to the statement, the bold and determined response of the security forces thwarted the efforts of Fitna-ul-Hindustan to spread unrest in Balochistan. In continuation of this, extensive intelligence-based operations, combing and clearance operations were carried out to eliminate the sleeper cells of the terrorists in different areas.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that through planning, actionable intelligence and coordinated joint operations, Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies, in collaboration with intelligence agencies, carried out decisive and effective operations under Operation Radd-ul-Fitnah-1.

The ISPR said that as a result of the clearance operations, 216 terrorists were killed, which severely damaged the leadership, command and control system and operational capabilities of the terrorist networks.

A large cache of foreign-made weapons, ammunition, explosives and other equipment was also recovered during the operation, initial information has revealed evidence of systematic external assistance and logistical support being provided to the terrorists.

During these operations, 36 innocent civilians, including women and children, were martyred, while 22 brave soldiers of the security forces and law enforcement agencies laid down their lives in defense of the homeland.

The Pakistan Army Spokesperson said that their courage, professionalism and unwavering determination are a manifestation of high military traditions, the entire nation pays tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs and expresses complete solidarity with their families.

According to the statement, the government of Pakistan will continue the struggle against terrorism with full strength and determination under the National Action Plan and counter-terrorism operations will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism.

The Pakistan Army Spokesperson said that Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 is a manifestation of the determination that the brave people of Pakistan, especially Balochistan, will always prefer peace over violence, unity over chaos and development over unrest.

President and Prime Minister pay tribute to the security forces and law enforcement agencies

The President said in his statement that the timely action of the security forces has foiled the nefarious attempt by Fitna-ul-Hindistan to sabotage the peace of Balochistan, and the complete elimination of terrorism sponsored by outside the country is the top priority.

President Zardari said that he is happy that the leadership and capability of terrorist networks operating with external support were broken through coordinated intelligence-based operations. The nation salutes the sacrifices of its martyrs and is united against terrorism.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that he expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of 36 people, including women and children, during the terrorist operations against innocent citizens and paid tribute to the 22 security personnel who sacrificed their lives while giving priority to the safety of the beloved homeland.

The Prime Minister said that the Pakistani nation can never forget the sacrifice of its martyrs and will always continue to thwart the evil intentions of cowardly terrorists to sabotage the peace of Balochistan by targeting innocent citizens.

The Prime Minister said that by targeting innocent citizens of Balochistan, terrorists have proven that they are enemies of the progress and prosperity of Balochistan and the people. The war against the monster of terrorism will continue until it is completely eradicated from the country.
