More than 40 technical courses were conducted for students through “Navttc”: Dr. Mir Asif Akbar

 

Lahore: The annual meeting of the Board of Governors of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Khurram Nawaz Gandapur. Presenting the report in the meeting, Nazim-ul-Madaris Pakistan Dr. Mir Asif Akbar said that in order to include students studying in religious schools in the national, educational and development stream, more technical courses have been conducted through “Navttc” so that the students who graduate from here can serve the religion and Pakistan as well as get a respectable job.

He said that with the cooperation of DGRE, professional training was organized for hundreds of madrasas across the country.

In addition, the system of affiliation of madrasas has also been made completely digital. To make the examination system transparent, an online monitoring system has been introduced through video link, which is a first of its kind in the history of religious seminaries in Pakistan.

He said that in order to keep the students of religious seminaries included in the national mainstream, attention is being paid to extracurricular activities along with academic and technical education, and the students have been included in tree plantation campaigns, Independence Day celebrations, Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) conferences, speech competitions and sports activities, and awareness of the need and importance of peace has been raised among the students by organizing nationwide peace conferences.

He said that to encourage the position holders in the annual examination, they were also given cash prizes, medals and certificates.

He informed the board that in recognition of the responsible teaching and administrative role of Nizam al-Madaris, a joint forum of 20,000 registered madrasas, including 7 institutes, has been formed under DGRE, the unified forum of which has been given the unanimous representation of Nizam al-Madaris Pakistan at the national level.

He further informed that he said that at present more than 2,500 religious madrasas have affiliated and this year 117,255 students have participated in the examinations of various levels.

He further informed that Nizam al-Madaris Pakistan is the first religious federation which has been organizing trainings for teachers of Dars Nizami, Tajweed and Qiraat and Hifz-e-Quran at the central, zonal and divisional levels for the last 5 years. Nizam al-Madaris has transferred complete administrative affairs to the Central Management System in a short period of time and established a paperless office system.

Deputy Chairman Khurram Nawaz Gandapur expressed satisfaction over the briefing and said that the services of Nizam al-Madaris Pakistan in terms of including the students of religious schools in the national educational mainstream are commendable and revolutionary teaching reforms have been introduced within the religious schools in a short period of time, for which all the administrators deserve congratulations.

The meeting was attended by President Mufti Ghulam Asghar Siddiqui, Allama Badal-uz-Zaman Qadri, Dr. Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi, Allama Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi, Dr. Khurram Shahzad, Dr. Muhammad Farooq Rana, Dr. Ali Waqar Qadri, Azmat Ali Qadri, Ashfaq Ali Chishti, Qazi Faizul Islam. Mufti Mukarram Khan Qadri participated from Karachi via Zoom link and Syeda Akhtar Kulsoom from Faisalabad.
