Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, while talking to the leaders of Mustafavi Students Movement on the occasion of International Education Day, said that the identity of the Muslim Ummah is knowledge and research, which has been blessed with the treasures of knowledge.

Sheikh-ul-Islam said that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said that on the Day of Judgment, the ink of the pen of the scholars and the blood of the martyrs will be weighed, so the ink of the pen of the scholars will be heavier than the blood of the martyrs. The Holy Prophet is the teacher of humanity and he has laid great emphasis on acquiring knowledge and spreading knowledge.

He said that if the Ummah wants to revive the glory and prestige of the bygone era, then it should spend resources on knowledge and research, investment in knowledge development will never be wasted, unlike in Western societies, education in Muslim societies does not seem to be the priority that is needed today.

He described the services of Minhaj-ul-Quran educational institutions in terms of education and training as exemplary and national service, saying that millions of students are studying in Minhaj-ul-Quran educational institutions.
