Hyderabad (Special Report: Muhammad Waseem Jokhio) President Mustafavi Students Movement Sindh Province, Yasir Khoso Advocate has said on the suspension of Headmistress Government Girls High School Mirpur Sakro Thatta, Gulnaz Jokhio that suspending an educated and spotless teacher without a full investigation is not only a grave injustice but also amounts to harming the educational environment of Sindh.
He said that Sanon Mehshuri’s action of throwing the matter on social media instead of resolving it at the institutional level is not responsible but an attempt to spoil the environment under a conspiracy.
Yasir Khoso Advocate said that MSM Sindh Province stands with the teachers. Making religious allegations against a teacher is a very sensitive and serious matter and throwing it without evidence is a conspiracy against the tolerance, brotherhood and peace of Sindh.
He demanded that Gulnaz Jokhio’s suspension be immediately lifted and the truth of the baseless allegations against her be brought to light.
He requested the Sindh Education Minister and said that it is the responsibility of the education department to provide complete protection to teachers. If a teacher is targeted today under false propaganda, tomorrow the entire education system will be in fear and chaos.
Therefore, the Education Minister should provide justice to Gulnaz Jokhio, otherwise this injustice will create a new wave of uncertainty in the entire province.
