Lahore: A delegation of scholars from the central Nizamat-e-Dawat of Minhaj-ul-Quran Movement, led by Deputy Director-General Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri, met with President Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. While talking, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that a preacher should be strong in the field of character and knowledge. Modern media should be used for social reform. A teacher, preacher or da’ee are role models of every society. Hard work is indispensable for the training of a da’ee.
He said that the present-day preacher of Islam should not only be strong in the field of knowledge but also in the field of character and communication. Dawah without knowledge loses depth, without character its impact disappears, and without communication the message does not reach.

Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the purpose of dawah is not only to preach but also to soften hearts, eradicate hatred and mold society in the color of love of Mustafa (peace be upon him). He said that today’s youth can be influenced with evidence, understanding and character. Modern media such as social media, videos, and digital platforms should be used positively so that the message of religion is widespread and modern.

He said that scholars and scholars should understand the mental and intellectual tendencies of the young generation and present religion in their language. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri further said that the Minhaj-e-Quran Movement is a representative movement of the beautiful combination of knowledge and character, which aims to bring about scientific awareness, intellectual purification and practical change in the society.
He directed the scholars of the Directorate of Dawat to highlight the moral and spiritual aspects of religion in their speeches, lessons, and writings so that the new generation can be enlightened with the true spirit of Islam. On this occasion, Central Nazim-e-Dawat Allama Jamil Ahmed Zahid, Qari Riyat Ali Chadhar, and other scholars were also present in the meeting.
