Lahore: The meeting of the Central Executive Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran Movement was held at the Central Secretariat. The meeting was presided over by Chairman Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. The meeting was attended by heads of all departments, deputy governors and members of the executive council. Governor Khurram Nawaz Gandapur gave a detailed briefing on the agenda of the meeting. Deputy Governor Coordination Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najam gave a briefing on the project of knowledge centers.

Addressing the meeting, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that it is obligatory on every Muslim to strive for the reform of society (enjoining good and forbidding evil) at the educational, intellectual, training and da’wah levels. Minhaj-ul-Quran Movement is committed to the mission of fulfilling the dream of serving religion, serving humanity and creating a perfect society.

He said that through the Nizam al-Madaris Pakistan, the foundation of revolutionary reforms has been laid in religious schools at the educational, curricular and teaching levels.

Minhaj-ul-Quran is effectively using modern media to promote education and training, revive the culture of book reading and strengthen moral values. He said that the young generation should fulfill its religious responsibilities in these efforts so that the society can become a model of knowledge and action and morality and character.

Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that online Quran learning courses are receiving great public acceptance. The solution to every problem faced by the Muslim Ummah lies in the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.

He further said that Minhaj-ul-Quran Movement is playing its religious and national role to promote education and increase the literacy rate. At present, thousands of male and female students are studying in educational institutions of different levels, and Alhamdulillah the number of educational institutions of Minhaj-ul-Quran is continuously increasing.

He said that the foundation stone of another chartered university will be laid very soon, while the construction project of Al-Azhamiya Institute has entered the final stage of completion.

In his address, the Chairman Supreme Council said that dozens of scientific and research books are being published every year in Arabic, English and Urdu languages ​​from the platform of Minhaj-ul-Quran, while the global chain of translations and dissemination of knowledge is in addition to this. As a result of these scientific efforts, the culture of research, study and scientific awareness is developing in the Muslim Ummah.

He said that nations, parties and movements are successful only when their vision is based on sincerity, transparency, strategy and talented manpower. Alhamdulillah Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has given the youth a workable plan of action and strategy with the vision of forming a Mustafai society and knowledge and peace.

He finally said that all the organizations, forums, departments and workers of the movement should play their full role in making the “Centers of Knowledge” program successful, because making every home a center of knowledge will determine the true direction of the formation of a Mustafai society. Performance reports of various departments were presented in the meeting and future goals were set. The members of the Central Executive Council also presented their suggestions regarding organizational stability, training programs, reform and welfare projects.
