Lahore: A book fair was organized by the College of Sharia and Islamic Sciences (Bazm Minhaj), in which hundreds of students, teachers, researchers and knowledge-loving personalities participated. Chairman Supreme Council Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, congratulated the organizers on the successful organization of the book fair.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the long-term solution to all the intellectual, cultural and social crises facing Pakistan lies in the revival of the culture of reading books. He said that organizing a book fair is not just an educational activity, but an important step towards intellectual change. At a time when the younger generation is immersed in social media entertainment, such events are like a breath of fresh air.
He said that if such academic fairs continue, the light of knowledge and research will flourish in Pakistan, and the young generation will emerge from the clutches of intellectual slavery and embark on the path of consciousness and awareness. The book fair was inaugurated by Ahmed, Head of the Blockchain Institute of Pakistan.

The ceremony was specially attended by Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najam, Brigadier (retd) Omar Hayat, Noorullah Siddiqui, Colonel (retd) Khalid Javed, Nazim-e-Ala Nizam-e-Madaris Pakistan Allama Mir Asif Akbar, Principal Dr. Mumtaz-ul-Hasan Barvi. A special aspect of the book fair was the exhibition of hundreds of books by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, which not only covered various topics but also became the center of special attention of students and the general public due to their availability at special discounts. In particular, the book written on “Terrorism and Fitna al-Kharij” received extraordinary reception.
Students, teachers, researchers and knowledge-loving personalities who participated in the book fair said that the works of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri offer a very insightful analysis of the scientific, intellectual and spiritual challenges of the present era and are playing a key role in removing the youth from radicalism, extremism and intellectual chaos.
