Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s violation of the Gaza peace agreement.

A statement issued by the Foreign Office spokesperson said that Pakistan demands an immediate end to Israeli aggression, several civilians have been martyred in the latest attacks by the Israeli army in Gaza.

The statement said that the Israeli actions are against the spirit of the Sharm el-Sheikh peace agreement.

The Foreign Office spokesperson said that Pakistan calls on the international community to take immediate steps to stop Israeli violations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the international community should ensure the full implementation of the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement, the ceasefire, and the protection of Palestinians.

In the statement, Pakistan reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the pre-1967 borders.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Saudi counterpart discuss situation in Gaza

On the other hand, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a telephonic conversation on the situation in Gaza and reaffirmed their shared commitment to peace and stability in the region.

The Foreign Office said in a statement that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar spoke to Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan late last night over the phone.

According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders reviewed the recent developments in the region, including the situation in Gaza and Palestine, which was a continuation of their previous discussions.

The Foreign Office added that the two sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to peace and stability in the region and agreed to remain in close contact on matters of mutual interest.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were among eight Muslim countries that worked with the administration of US President Donald Trump on a plan to end Israel’s genocide and aggression on Gaza.

Earlier this month, both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan welcomed the signing of a ceasefire agreement between the Israeli government and the Palestinian group Hamas, with Saudi Arabia expressing hope that the agreement would lead to peace after two years of Israeli bombing.

Moreover, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy long-standing and multifaceted relations based on strategic military cooperation, shared economic interests and Islamic heritage, including economic assistance and energy supplies, with Riyadh being a major source of financial aid and oil for Islamabad.

In September, the two countries signed a strategic mutual defense agreement in Riyadh, under which an attack on either country would be considered an attack on both.

British troops deployed to Israel to monitor Gaza peace plan

Hamas hands over another hostage’s body to Israel

The Palestinian resistance organization Hamas has handed over the body of another hostage to Israel.
