Pakistan succeeded in raising Kashmir issue on global stage: Chief Minister of occupied Kashmir

The Chief Minister of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, says that Pakistan has succeeded in raising Kashmir on a global stage.

In an interview with Indian TV, Omar Abdullah said that many things have changed due to the Indo-Pak war, but if nothing has changed, then it is Pakistan’s plan to raise the Kashmir issue on a global stage.

Omar Abdullah said that the victims of the Pahalgam incident did not get justice due to India’s attack on Pakistan, but Pakistan has succeeded in raising Kashmir on a global stage.

He said that due to the war, we are at a point that we did not expect later, America is taking an interest in the Kashmir issue to play a supervisory or mediating role.

It should be remembered that on April 22, 26 people were killed in a firing incident at a tourist center in Pahalgam, occupied Kashmir. Pakistan not only immediately condemned the Pahalgam incident but also offered India all kinds of cooperation in a transparent investigation of the matter.

However, India’s Hindu extremist ruling party BJP, which follows a Hindutva policy, accused Pakistan without evidence a few minutes after the incident and, using the Pahalgam false flag operation as a justification for political purposes, Pakistan suspended the Indus Waters Treaty for the distribution of river waters, which was mediated by the World Bank.

Pakistan bluntly stated that India cannot unilaterally terminate the Indus Waters Treaty. If India stops or diverts the flow of water from Pakistani rivers, it will be considered an act of war. Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that water is our lifeline. If India builds a dam on Pakistani water, it will destroy this structure.

Despite Pakistan’s clear messages, India did not stop and on the night of May 6-7, it bombed 5 locations in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan, to which the Pakistani forces responded forcefully and destroyed 5 enemy aircraft, including 3 Rafales.

On May 8, India again sent Israeli-made Herop drones to several cities in Pakistan. With the help of these drones, an attempt was made to target the ongoing PSL in Rawalpindi. On the night of May 9-10, India once again tried to test the strength of the Pakistani forces, to which Pakistan gave India a befitting reply that India will remember for a long time.

Pakistani Shaheens, with the help of JF-17 Thunder and J-10C aircraft, destroyed several airfields and check posts, including India’s S-400 air defense system.

Helpless in the face of the relentless attacks of Pakistani forces, India requested a ceasefire from the United States, after which a ceasefire agreement was reached between the two countries through the efforts of various countries, which was confirmed by US President Donald Trump on social media.

Later, US President Donald Trump made another tweet in which he wrote that he will work with Pakistan and India and see what can be done to resolve the long-standing Kashmir issue between the two countries.
