A 24-year-old bowler has died of a heart attack during a PCB Challenge Cup match in Bannu.
According to the PCB, young cricketer Aleem Khan died of sudden cardiac arrest during a match in the ongoing PCB Challenge Cup (two-day tournament) in Bannu on May 5.
Pakistan Cricket Board’s Director Domestic Abdullah Khurram Niazi has expressed grief over the death of young fast bowler Aleem Khan and expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family.
Family sources have confirmed that 24-year-old bowler Aleem Khan, a resident of Bannu, has been laid to rest.
According to umpire Inamullah Khan, Aleem Khan collapsed while bowling during the match. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but he did not survive.
