Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta: The Meteorological Department has given good news for the people suffering from heat in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
According to the Meteorological Department, the rain-bearing system will re-enter Punjab including Lahore after 2 days, while dry weather is currently continuing in most areas of Punjab and there is no possibility of rain in the next one to two days.
Dusty winds are likely to blow in many cities including the provincial capital, which will give a feeling of coolness in the weather, while the temperature will decrease due to the winds, but the weather will remain dry.
The minimum temperature in Lahore can reach 24 while the maximum temperature can reach 34 degrees Celsius. According to meteorological experts, a new rain system will enter Pakistan from the west after 2 days, which will make the weather pleasant.
Due to this cloud system, rain is expected across Punjab. On the other hand, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Thunderstorms may occur in some areas including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Buner, Malakand, Mansehra, Battagram. The temperature was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius in Peshawar, while it was 32 degrees in Dera Ismail Khan and 35 degrees in Bannu. Similarly, the temperature was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius in Chitral, 29 degrees in Upper Dir, 24 degrees in Kalam and 20 degrees in Malam Jabba.
In addition, the weather is predicted to be hot and dry in most areas of Balochistan. There is a possibility of strong winds and thundershowers in Khuzdar, Lasbela and surrounding areas. The maximum temperature in Quetta was 33 degrees while in Kalat it was 27 degrees.
Apart from this, the temperature of Ziarat was recorded at 21, Zhob at 36, Sibi at 41 and Turbat at 43 degrees Celsius. Temperatures were recorded at Nokundi at 42, Chaman at 36, Gwadar at 38 and Jiwani at 39 degrees Celsius.
