Lahore: Addressing the 16th Farid Millat Scholarship Award distribution ceremony organized by Minhaj Education Society, President Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Chairman Minhaj Education Society, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi said that nations are built and destroyed by the role of teachers. The main reason for moral deterioration is the curriculum devoid of purpose and teachers deprived of training. Children from more than 50 schools participated in the ceremony, 200 students were given Farid Millat Scholarship Awards and the best teachers were awarded special shields.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri announced that Minhaj Education Society will start an international standard teacher training program, and a best nation cannot be developed without the best teachers.
He further said that the major crisis in the education sector is not the lack of buildings, teachers and resources, but the biggest crisis is educating students without purpose. Many quarters are worried about the fact that 25 million children are not going to school. My concern is that what are the millions of children who are going to schools studying and leaving there? When we look at the society, lawlessness and lawlessness are at their peak. Immoral behavior and crimes are reaching their extremes, incidents of disrespect for parents and teachers are common, none other than the objective-less curriculum and the teacher who is deprived of training are responsible for all this destruction.
He said that ill-mannered students are the product of a worthless teacher. Teachers are the ones who build and destroy nations. There is a need for a curriculum and teaching style that instills the essence of wisdom and prudence. Becoming a teacher is the most difficult job in developed nations. In our country, those who do not understand any other work become teachers. It is inevitable to work hard to make teachers teachers for the reconstruction of the country and the formation of the nation according to the teachings of the Prophet. The state should not remain indifferent to this important question. A teacher who scolds children is not a teacher, but rather a mental and psychological patient. The personality and nature of the teacher play an important role in the education and character building of students. Educational institutions have become machines that distribute degrees. Educational policies are failing because they lack objectivity. The aim of education is to create a law-abiding and morally-based society, not just to obtain employment.
Minhaj Education Society Managing Director Prof. Dr. Tariq Mahmood Chaudhry said that teachers should instill a love for coming to school in the hearts of children, on that day we will become an organized and developing nation when our children will start expressing happiness when school is closed and will start expressing anxiety when school opens.
In the ceremony, Director Services Minhaj Education Society Dr. Ali Waqar and Director Operations Shoaib Tahir gave a special briefing regarding Minhaj Education Society. Malik Irfan Qasim, Controller Punjab Board of Technical Education and prominent YouTuber Aun Ali Khosa specially participated in the ceremony. The central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran Dr. Mir Asif Akbar, Colonel (R) Khalid Javed, Noorullah Siddiqui, Shahzad Rasool, Sohail Raza and others participated.
