Lahore: Chairman Supreme Council Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, while addressing the farewell ceremony of session 2025 organized by Bazm-e-Minhaj and College of Sharia and Islamic Sciences in Lahore, said that the students of the college completed session 2025 in an organized and successful manner, for which they deserve congratulations.
He said that the aim of Bazm-e-Minhaj is to enhance the capabilities of students, convert knowledge into practice, and develop leadership that is representative of the religion. This forum provides an opportunity for personality development through curricular and extracurricular activities.

He further said that in the Holy Quran, where Allah Almighty mentioned the duties and responsibilities of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), He also clarified the purpose of the Prophet’s mission. The knowledge of recitation and all other sciences were bestowed upon him by the same Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). It is the recitation of the Quran that makes a person a reader and friend of the Quran.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council said that purification of the soul is essential before knowledge. Sufism is actually the name of purifying the heart and illuminating the inner self, and politeness, patience, forbearance and action are the basic conditions for acquiring knowledge.

He stressed that the students of Minhaj-ul-Quran should use social media for positive and da’wah purposes, because they are the true preachers and leaders of the Mustafavi mission. Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said in his concluding remarks that the students of Minhaj-ul-Quran are not just seekers of knowledge, but they are future leaders, reformers and representatives of religion. Bazm-e-Minhaj has created the awareness among the youth that molds knowledge into character.

He said that true education is that which purifies the inner self of a person and teaches him service to humanity, humility and tolerance. The aim of Sufism is also to enlighten the heart of a person and connect him with the Creator. He advised the students to spread light in the society through their knowledge and actions, because the eminent members of Minhaj-ul-Quran are the missionary force who will convey the message of mercy of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to the world. Their role in today’s era is to become a practical interpretation of the message of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) through knowledge and positive invitation.
The ceremony was attended by Grand Mufti Abdul Qayyum Hazarvi, Principal College of Sharia and Islamic Sciences Professor Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi, GM Malik, Wing Commander Abdul Ghaffar, Allama Muhammad Mohibullah Azhar, Allama Sabir Hussain Naqshbandi, Professor Dr. Shafaqat Ali Baghdadi, Professor Dr. Akram Rana, Deputy Directors-General Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najam, Noorullah Siddiqui, Colonel (retd) Khalid Javed, Shakeel Ahmed Tahir, Ainul Haq Baghdadi, Dr. Sajid Al-Azhari, Dr. Masood Ahmed, Lubna Mushtaq and Saima Noor, along with professors, faculty members, teachers and students of the College of Sharia and Islamic Sciences in large numbers.
