The final schedule of the remaining 8 matches of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been released, under which the first match will be played on May 17 in Rawalpindi and the final on May 25 in Lahore.
Dawn News had reported yesterday from sources that it has been decided to hold the remaining 8 matches of PSL 10, for which the date has been set from May 17 to 25 and these matches will be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Confirming this news, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released the final schedule for the remaining matches of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League.
It should be noted that the Pakistan Cricket Board had postponed the PSL indefinitely due to the Pakistan-India war.
According to the PCB, Peshawar Zalmi will face Karachi Kings at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday, May 17.
Similarly, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host a double header on May 18, with Multan Sultans taking on Quetta Gladiators in the afternoon and Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars facing off in the evening.
On May 19, Islamabad United and Karachi Kings will face off in the final group match of the event, after which the first qualifier will be held in Lahore on May 21, while Eliminator 1 and Qualifier 2 will be held on May 22 and 23, respectively.
A statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board said that the only match in the afternoon will start at 3 pm local time, while the evening matches will be scheduled at 7.30 pm.
According to the PCB, the final of Pakistan Super League 10 will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on May 25, while details regarding tickets will be shared soon.
It should be remembered that all the franchises are in touch with their foreign players for the remaining matches of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League and several players have expressed their support for returning.
Sources have said that local players will be selected in place of the franchises for which foreign players are not available.
It should be noted that the 5-match T20 series between the teams of Pakistan and Bangladesh will be held in the stadiums of Lahore and Faisalabad.
Sources have said that the broadcasting team that will come for the Pakistan and Bangladesh series will broadcast the remaining matches of PSL 10.
